Feliz 2007!
Undeniable truths by Richard Bach
“Can miles truly separate you from friends... If you want to be with someone you love, aren't you already there?”
“You are never given a dream without also being given the power to make it true. You may have to work for it, however.”
“Bad things are not the worst things that can happen to us. 'Nothing' is the worst thing that can happen to us!”
“Nothing happens by chance, my friend... No such thing as luck. A meaning behind every little thing, and such a meaning behind this. Part for you, part for me, may not see it all real clear right now, but we will, before long.”
“I want to be very close to someone I respect and admire and have somebody who feels the same way about me.”
“If you love someone, set them free. If they come back they're yours; if they don't they never were.”
“Don't turn away from possible futures before you're certain you don't have anything to learn from them.”
“It is by not always thinking of yourself, if you can manage it, that you might somehow be happy. Until you make room in your life for someone as important to you as yourself, you will always be searching and lost”
“There are no mistakes. The events we bring upon ourselves, no matter how unpleasant, are necessary in order to learn what we need to learn; whatever steps we take, they're necessary to reach the places we've chosen to go.”
“What are we trying to practice every day? If our friendship depends on
things like space and time, then when we finally overcome space and time,
we've destroyed our own brotherhood! But overcome space, and all we have
left is Here. Overcome time, and all we have left is Now. And in the
middle of Here and Now, don't you think that we might see each other once
or twice?"
“True love stories never have endings”
“Every person, all the events of your life, are there because you have drawn them there. What you choose to do with them is up to you.”
“There's no disaster that can't become a blessing, and no blessing that can't become a disaster”
Richard Bach

Hurricane Emily and the Moon
This panoramic view of the eye of Hurricane Emily was shot by the crew of the International Space Station while they passed over the southern Gulf of Mexico looking eastward toward the rising moon. This July 16, 2005 image shows the eye of the hurricane, which appears as a depression in the cloud deck, stretches out to the horizon and fades into the limb (the bright blue cross-section) of the Earth’s atmosphere. At the time this image was taken, Emily was a strengthening Category 4 hurricane. With the formation of Hurricane Emily, 2005 became the first season in which there were two Category 4 storms before the end of July.

Música linda linda linda e cheia de significado...
We have both been here before
Knockin' upon love's door
Begging for someone to let us in
Knowing this we can agree to keep each other company
Never to go down that road again
My beloved one, my beloved one
Your eyes shine through me
You are so divine to me
Your heart has a home in mine
We won't have to say a word
With a touch all shall be heard
When I search my heart it's you I find
My beloved one, my beloved one, my beloved one
You were meant for me, I believe you were sent to me from a dream straight into to my heart
Hold your body and close to me
You mean the most to me
We will keep each other safe from harm
My beloved one, my beloved one, my beloved one

Waiting on an angel...
Waiting on an angel.
One to carry me home.
Hope you come and see me soon, cause I don't want to go
alone,
I don't want to go alone.
Now angel won't you come by me.
Angel hear my plea.
Take my hand, lift me up so that I can fly with thee,
so that I can fly with thee.
And I'm waiting on an angel.
And I know it won't be long to find myself a resting place in my
angel's arms,
in my angel's arms.
So speak kind to a stranger, cause you'll never know, it just
might be an angel come, Oh- knockin' at your door, Oh- knockin'
at your door.
And I'm waiting on an angel.
And I know it won't be long to find myself a resting place in my
angel's arms,
Oh- in my angel's arms.
Waiting on an angel.
One to carry me home.
Hope you come to see me soon, cause I don't want to go
alone,
I don't want to go alone,
don't want to go,
I don't want to go alone.
Excertos...
"Love
Then said Almitra, "Speak to us of Love."And he raised his head and looked upon the people, and there fell a stillness upon them.
And with a great voice he said:
When love beckons to you follow him,
Though his ways are hard and steep.
And when his wings enfold you yield to him,
Though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you.
And when he speaks to you believe in him,
Though his voice may shatter your dreams as the north wind lays waste the garden.
For even as love crowns you so shall he crucify you. Even as he is for your growth so is he for your pruning.
Even as he ascends to your height and caresses your tenderest branches that quiver in the sun,
So shall he descend to your roots and shake them in their clinging to the earth.
Like sheaves of corn he gathers you unto himself.
He threshes you to make you naked.
He sifts you to free you from your husks.
He grinds you to whiteness.
He kneads you until you are pliant;
And then he assigns you to his sacred fire, that you may become sacred bread for God's sacred feast.
All these things shall love do unto you that you may know the secrets of your heart, and in that knowledge become a fragment of Life's heart.
But if in your fear you would seek only love's peace and love's pleasure,
Then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness and pass out of love's threshing-floor,
Into the seasonless world where you shall laugh, but not all of your laughter, and weep, but not all of your tears.
Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself.
Love possesses not nor would it be possessed;
For love is sufficient unto love.
When you love you should not say, "God is in my heart," but rather, I am in the heart of God."
And think not you can direct the course of love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.
Love has no other desire but to fulfil itself.
But if you love and must needs have desires, let these be your desires:
To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night.
To know the pain of too much tenderness.
To be wounded by your own understanding of love;
And to bleed willingly and joyfully.
To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving;
To rest at the noon hour and meditate love's ecstasy;
To return home at eventide with gratitude;
And then to sleep with a prayer for the beloved in your heart and a song of praise upon your lips. "

Aliás, todo o espírito natalício me deixa encantada.
Podem chamar-me doida, mas a mim bastam-me as luzinhas e boa companhia!
Lyrics...
"Favorite Adventure"
There you are
Your beauty consoles me
I've gone far
And I almost didn't find you
And I almost lived without you
There is nothing in this world
I'd rather do
Than live in you
Here we go,
Our favorite adventure
You should know
I was never more complete
And I never thought I'd see
The meaning of my life
Wrapped in you
Next to me
If you ever fear
Someday we might lose this
Come back here
To this moment that will last
And time can go so fast
When everything's exactly
Where it's at
Its very best
(more to come on K's choice...)
Um ligeiro apontamento...
Parabens atrasados!
